Fisher F44 Weatherproof Metal Detector with 11" DD Coil
The Fisher F44-11DD is a weatherproof detector for coins, jewelry, and relics, supplied with an 11-inch DD searchcoil. It combines nine-segment Target ID, four-tone audio, and FeTone adjustable iron audio with manual ground-balance control. Five operating modes include a custom setting, while a depth indicator and pinpoint mode help move from finding a signal to recovering the target.
What’s Included
Weatherproof Field Use
The housing is designed for detecting in rain and dusty outdoor conditions. Weatherproof protection supports changing weather during a land hunt; it does not make the entire detector suitable for underwater use.
11-Inch DD Searchcoil
This F44-11DD package includes an 11-inch DD coil. It is a distinct configuration from the F44 package supplied with an elliptical concentric coil.
Five Operating Modes
Five modes, including a customizable setting, let you adapt the detector to different searches. The custom option provides a way to build settings around the targets you want to investigate.
Target ID and Iron Audio
Nine-segment identification and four audio tones provide both visual and audible feedback. FeTone allows the iron response to be adjusted for sites containing unwanted ferrous metal.
Manual Ground Balance
Manual ground balancing gives you control over compensation for ground minerals. Adjusting for the soil helps distinguish ground response from target response.
Depth, Pinpoint and AA Power
Use the depth indicator during a search and pinpoint mode before digging. Two AA batteries power the F44, with manufacturer estimates of up to 30 hours of operation.
