The Garrett Vortex VX7 gives detectorists more control than the VX5, adding Multi-Frequency Salt operation for wet sand and saltwater surf, a two-tiered MD-MF Target ID display, additional audio tones, Z-Lynk wireless readiness, Iron Volume, and adjustable recovery speed. It is fully submersible to 16 feet and built for coins, relics, jewelry, beaches, parks, fields, lakes, streams, and shoreline hunting.

Dual Target ID Scale
When operating in Multi-Frequency, the VX7 Target ID system displays both a ferrous target scale and a non-ferrous target scale. Complex targets may indicate on both scales at the same time, giving you more target information before you decide to dig.

MD-MF Technology Explained

Recovery Speed Control
Select from Standard or Fast recovery speed. Faster recovery/reactivity helps you distinguish adjacent targets more clearly, especially in competition hunts or sites filled with metallic trash that might otherwise mask good targets.
Iron Volume Control
Iron Volume allows you to decrease the volume of ferrous targets while non-ferrous targets remain at normal volume. Experienced hunters who like hearing all targets will appreciate being able to lower the sound of unwanted iron.
